What we do

Warm Room Lab reviews plug-in wall outlet heaters for people heating one or two rooms rather than a whole house. Every roundup starts with the same question: which unit actually makes a room comfortable, and which ones just make a display glow.

How we test

Units are run in a real bedroom and a real home office through a full cold-weather week. We time warm-up, log noise while sleeping in the room, watch for nuisance shut-offs, and note whether the thermostat holds a setpoint or hunts around it.

Retail data — price, star rating, review count, availability and product images for Amazon listings — is pulled programmatically from the retailer's own product pages rather than typed from memory. Each product record stores its source URL and the date it was checked.

How we make money

This site earns commissions from affiliate links, including the Amazon Associates Program. That never changes a ranking or a score. If a product is disappointing we say so, and where we could not verify a number, we leave it off the page instead of guessing.
